I have absolutely no concrete reason to be posting this today except that I found it on YouTube and realized that I’d forgotten just how beautiful this piece of music was. From Nagisa Oshima’s 1983 film “Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence” starring David Bowie, Tom Conte, Takeshi Kitano and of course Ryuichi Sakamoto here is the main theme, a truly gorgeous piece of music.
