Since it was announced back in October details of Sion Sono’s next film “Ai no Mukidashi (Love Exposure)” have been a bit thin on the ground (at least from English news sources). We do know that the plot will follow a voyeur named Yu, played by AAA member Takahiro Nishijima, whose father is a Catholic priest. He meets and falls in love with a woman named Yoko (Hikari Mitsushima) whose family is involved in some kind of cult. A commentary on religion by the director of “Suicide Circle” and “Stange Circus” perhaps? Well not according to Sono himself.
While surfing around on YouTube I came across a video interview the director gave to “BujinkanAlex”, a fellow Canadian with his own fascinating YouTube channel, back in February. In the first half of the two part interview (posted below) Sono sums up “Ai no Mukidashi” as being “the story of the dick and pussy”. He goes on to somewhat elaborate saying that fans that love the blood and “erotic sexy stuff” in his previous films will not only like the new film, but will gain an insight as to why Sono has been so fascinated with these subjects in the past.
What’s a bit of a disappointment is that Sono also mentions that “Ai no Mukidashi” will be screened at this year’s Fantasia Fest in Montreal, which according to their schedule it’s not.

nice find! i can't tell if he's creepy or drunk.
I think he's a bit runk, but he's probablt always creepy His films (except for "Hazard") freak me the hell out!
if it's got the 'dick and pussy' line in the interview, it must be the same one as has been on the tube for three or four months... just conjoined and reposted somehow. film sounds interesting. as for creepy or drunk, i guess there's a third option : a creepy drunk.
