Seppun (Kiss) - Kunitoshi Manda (2008)

Kunitoshi Manda, the award-winning director who brought us the 2001 drama "Unloved", returns with "Seppun (Kiss)". A young woman played by Eiko Koike (2LDK, Yaji and Kita: The Midnight Pilgrims) begins a correspondence and eventually a face to face relationship with a convict (Etsushi Toyokawa) sentenced to death for the cold blooded murder of an entire family. What follows is a harrowing love triangle between the convict, the woman and the convicts lawyer (Toru Nakamura).
