News from Blake Etheridge of Twitchfilm.net that Austin’s Fantastic Fest will be featuring a pinku eiga film retrospective this year. Jasper Sharp who is getting ready to release his latest book “Behind the Pink Curtain: The Complete History of Japanese Sex Cinema” is teaming up with Japanese cinema crusader Marc Walkow to program what Fantastic Fest is saying will be “reaching back in the vaults to screen some very rare and very delicious treats.” If the selection will be anything like the Nikkatsu retrospective that Mark Walkow and Mark Schilling put together for “No Borders, No Limits” then the folks in Austin are in for a real treat.
