Tadanobu Asano speaks

Here’s another interesting You Tube find. It’s a roughly 12 minute interview with Tadanobu Asano that took place after a screening of Shinya Tsukamoto’s film “Vital” at the Freer Gallery of Art in Washington , D.C. Earlier this year the gallery ran a retrospective of Asano’s films called “Rebel, Artist, Superstar” and the man himself made a rare appearance here on this side of the pond. The interview is broken up into manageable You Tube sized chunks and covers topics like the sometimes shocking filming of “Vital”, the merciful lack of Japanese paparazzi, and how Matt Dillon may have influenced Asano’s famously stoic acting style.

Acknowledgement has to go to laukarfai for this. Check out his You Tube page here: http://www.youtube.com/user/laukarfai
