Viz Pictures have been doing a truly bang up job releasing the best in contemporary Japanese cinema here in North America, plus they don't make us fans wait years for a film to come to DVD. Their stellar track record is continuing June 24th when Nobuo Mizuta's 2007 comedy "Maiko Haaaan!!!" hits store shelves. But we at The Pow-Wow, in conjunction with the folks at Viz Pictures, thought that we'd give you the chance to get your hands on one of two special "Maiko Haaaan!!!" Deluxe Box Sets!The box includes: a "Maiko Haaaan!!!" DVD, movie poster, a special "Maiko Haaaan!!!" folding fan and "Maiko Haaaan!!!" Japanese style stick candy for those of you with a sweet tooth.
All you have to do to win one of these exclusive box sets is to head on over to The Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow Facebook group and write the answer to this question on the group wall: "Maiko Haaaan!!!" was written by cinematic wildman Kankuro Kudo. Name two other films that Kudo wrote the screenplay for.
And that's it! The two winners will be drawn on June 24th... the day when everyone else will have to actually buy their copies of "Maiko Haaaan!!!" (insert evil laugh here) Good luck everyone!
