I could have included Tak Sakaguchi in the above story had it not been for the fact that he’s already proven himself as a director with this year’s action adventure “Be a Man! Samurai School”, and it also seems like he’s really taken to this directing thing because he already prepping his second feature for release! According to Nippon Cinema “Samurai Zombie”, the story of a kidnapped family who get tangled up with a group of… you got it… samurai zombies, will get its premiere at this year’s Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival.
I’m looking forward to both of these. Sakaguchi is an action star with some major chops, both screen charisma chops and actual physical chops… and kicks and punches, so it’ll be nice to see what mayhem he can unleash on the big screen when he’s calling the shots… and kicks and punches.
