Maybe Facebook makes some people want to blow their brains out, but don't that that above pic the wrong way. Many of you who’ve been around for the long haul will recognize that still from "Sonatine" as part of our Facebook group profile pic. Back in the spring of last year The Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow got its start as a Facebook group as a place for Japanese film fans in the city to connect and compare notes. We started out with about 25 members, but now I’m pleased to announce that our Facebook home has swelled to over 600 members worldwide!
If you’ve just discovered the blog and want to meet and chat with other people online with a passion for Japanese cinema then by all means head over to the group and join! Let’s shoot for 700 members… 800 members… 8,000 members! Hell, you know world domination is our goal, right?
