Last week we reported on actor Tomorowo Taguchi's sophomore directing effort "Shikisoku Generation". Based on Jun Miura's autobiographical novel about a young man growing up in the 70's it will star Lily Franky and Chiemi Hori as the boy's parents, but at a press conference yesterday Taguchi introduced the rest of the cast and it looks like he's stacked the production with musicians.
Cast in the lead role of Jun is Daichi Watanabe the lead singer of Japanese punk band Kuroneko Chellsea. Along with Watanabe Quruli member Shigeru Kishida and Ging Nag boys leader Kazunobu Mineta round out the cast. Seeing that Taguchi originally started out as a member of the punk band Bachikaburi these casting choices don't seem so odd.
Thanks to Ryuganji.net and Tokyograph for the details on this.
