The man behind Cinema is Dope, Blake Etheridge has been posting reports from this year’s Neuchatel International Fantastic Film Festival over at Twitchfilm.net for the past few days and he’s managed to score a 5 minute video interview with J-horror master Hideo Nakata in which he discusses his upcoming projects. Fans of Nakata’s “Ring” franchise may be disappointed (or relieved) to hear that the director is not attached to a proposed third “Ring” film, and in fact Nakata’s next project isn’t horrific at all… Well, unless you’re a Hollywood exec. “Inhuman” is a documentary that Nakata has been working on that chronicles his recent sojourn in the world of big budget American features and considering the title you get a good idea of what kind of impression Hollywood left on Nakata.
