Here's another story that's just neat. Japan's oldest known musical composition, a folk song called "Kokoriko Bushi" has been given a techno reworking by musical collective Omodaka. The song takes its name from the kokoriko, an ancient Japanese instrument. Check out a traditional performance of the song below before getting your mind blown by the psychedelic video directed by animator/ cartoonist/ designer Teppei Maki. Enjoy, Folks!
