Okay, I don't know much about the whole tokusatsu superhero genre. I admit I'm intrigued and I want to know more, and I wouldn't mind starting with Megaloman, the late 70's creation of Toho and director Tetsu Kariya. Somehow a hero that just looks like Ultraman wearing a fright wig appeals to the absurdist in me. The real carrot at the end of the stick though is this song, a 1981 ode to Megaloman by Flavio Carraresi, Angelo Rotunno and the The Megalonsingers and released on ARC/ RCA Records. What better way to start Monday with a bit of Megaloman pimp daddy love music? Enjoy!
