Here's a bit of inspiration for anyone who's planning on doing a little house cleaning this weekend ( Frankly, I'm going to try and avoid doing any myself.) Here are a series of 1970s commercials for National Electronic's Hayabusa brand vacuum cleaner. Those dust bunnies under the bed have combined into one nasty mess, a mosnter named Gomira ("gomi" meaning "trash" in Japanese). Who can save us from certain... uncleanliness??? Mom of course! Well, Mom when she becomes the winged Hayabusa-san, defender of spotless and lint-free homes! These commercials were actually produced by Tsuburaya Productions, the company behind the "Ultraman" films and TV series. Have fun cleaning house!
