A full gallery of stills for "20th Century Boys 2" goes up at Cinema Today

by Chris MaGee

Well, we knew that Yukihiko Tsutsumi's big screen/ big budget manga adaptation "20th Century Boys" was going to be a trilogy and now that the first film has grossed ¥3,184,475,945 at the Japanese box office it's almost time for our second trip into the mind of manga artist Naoki Urasawa and his multiple timeline conspiracy mystery. What better way to grease the promotional machine than with a gallery of new stills from "20th Century Boys 2"? Japanese film site Cinema Today is more than happy to oblige with a brand new batch of images from the sequel that's due to be unleashed in Japanese theatres in January. Will we finally find out who the "Friend Group" and their Mysterious leader is? And how do they happen to know what Kenji (Toshiaki Karasawa) and his friends dreamt up when they were boys? I guess that remains to be seen... That and when the first "20th Century Boys" will get a DVD release here in North America.

If this stills aren't enough for you check out this extended trailer for "20th Century Boys 2" below:
