Thought this would be of interest to Japanese film fans and fans of Japanese pop culture in general. Japanese pop art phenome Takashi Murakami's agency Kaikai Kiki represents a group of artists who share in Murakami's anime inspired aesthetic. One of them, an artists known only as Mr. has moved from painting (above) to film with a newly directed short titled "Nobody Dies". The short film about a group of girls who take part in a paint ball war game will premiere just before Mr's November exhibition at Lehmann Maupin Gallery in Manhattan.
