Based on a book of short stories by Japanese author Hideo Okuda “Lala Pipo” follows the zany adventures of an OL (Yuri Nakamura) who becomes a porn star after being brought into the AV industry by a talent scout played by Hiroki Narimiya.St for release in Japanese theatres in February of 2009.




Tori (Bird) – Tadanobu Asano (2004)

2004’s “Tori (Bird)” marks the directorial debut of Tadanobu Asano and it definitely looks like the actor was inspired by his time working with mad genius cinematographer Christopher Doyle on his 1999 film “Away with Words” Asano pulls together five unrelated and surreal story lines that stress mood over narrative.
