Eros Plus Massacre - Yoshishige Yoshida (1969)

One of the most famed films of the Japanese New Wave Yoshishige Yoshida's "Eros Plus Massacre" contrasts the life of the Taisho Era anarchist and free love advocate Osugi Sakae who was killed by Japanese military police in the wake of the Great Kantō Earthquake of 1923 with that of two university students in the late 60s who are researching his political and sociological works.
