It was way back in June that we told you about Takanori Tsujimoto's 45-minute action movie “Hard Revenge Milly” starring Miki Mizuno as a woman who sets out into a chaotic near future Yokohama to avenge the brutal murder of her husband and daughter at the hands of a sociopathic gang. Well, now there's word from Nippon Cinema that Tsujimoto has written and directed a sequel to his ultra-violent martial arts flick titled "Hard Revenge Milly: Bloody Battle"... and this one really looks bloody.
This time around Milly agrees to help a young woman named Haru avenge the murder of her boyfriend, but its a decision that will bring her face to face with the former associates of the men who killed her family.
Fans of "The Machine Girl" and "Tokyo Gore Police" take note because the man behind the stomach-churning special effects in those films, Yoshihiro Nishimura, is providing the blood and guts in "Bloody Battle". To get a glimpse of what you can expect when the film comes out in Japan this summer visit Nippon Cinema to watch the trailer, and check out the official site for "Hard Revenge Milly: Bloody Battle" here for additional details.

I bought "Machine Girl", watched it, and decided to stop buying gratuitously violent and quirky Japanese films designed for a Western market. Then I bought "TGP", watched it, and said never again. But now I want "Hard Revenge Milly." Thanks a lot!
