The Anime News Network reports that voice actress Maaya Sakamoto will be playing the new character Makinami Mari Illustrious in the upcoming anime "Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance." The second film in a series of remakes of the "Neon Genesis Evangelion" television anime series, it will also feature Yuko Miyamura reprising the role of Asuka (renamed as Shikinami Asuka Langley).
