"Love Exposure" takes home the Audience Award at this year's Barcelona Asian Film Festival

The 11th Annual Barcelona Asian Film Festival wrapped up on Sunday. It sounds like they had a another very successful year with 22,000 people coming out to catch 60 films from across Asia. Congratulations!

Organizers have been emailing out follow up messages to all the BAFF news subscribers and the last big news from this year's fest was the list of award winners. You can track down the full list of award recipients at the the BAFF's official site here, but the winner of this year's Audience Award will be of special interest to Japanese film fans. Sion Sono's 4-hour "Love Exposure" captured the imaginations of those 22,000 attendees and took home the Audience Award. Again, congratulation, but this time to Sono-san and his cast and crew!
