Man, I feel like I'm going to hell for writing that headline, but it's appropriate and accurate. Kyo Hatsuki's risque manga "Inu-neko (Dog-Cat)" has been turned into a low-budget, live-action feature by director Satoshi Kaneda, and it looks like everything that made the manga naughty has made it to the big screen with "Ecchi wo Nerae! Inuneko".
"Inu-Neko" is the story of a very strange love triangle between a teacher, her student and the young man they both love. Things get really strange, though, when Yuki, the teacher played by former Miniskirt Police member Tomomi Miyauchi, switches bodies with Makino, her student played by gravure idol Charlotte Yabuki. Toraichi (Masato Uchiyama), the young man in the middle of all this isn't quite sure what to make of it all... including how Yuki has somehow inherited Makino's hairy armpits.
Is this high art? Hell, no! But for folks looking for laughs and plenty of nudity and blue humour it seems like "Ecchi wo Nerae! Inuneko" will fit the bill. Check out the trailer below to see what I mean, but fair warning - this one's NOT SAFE FOR WORK.
"Ecchi wo Nerae! Inuneko" will be receiving a limited release in Japan starting on August 29th. Thanks to Anime News Network and Tokyograph for the story details and Eiga.com for teh above image.
