Doman Seman - Go Shibata (2010)

After a detour in the director-for-hire film "Punch the Blue Sky" Go Shibata returns to form with Doman Seman. The man who brought us "late Bloomer" takes us into the middle of a battle between good and evil spirits using humans as pawns in the narrow back streets of present day Kyoto. "Doman Seman" is set to premiere during this year's Tokyo Filmex Festival to be followed by a theatrical release in 2010.



 
After Life - Hirokazu Kore-eda (1998)

The contemporary classic that asks the profoundly simple question, "If you could pick one memory of your entire life which one would it be?" Filmmaker Hirokazu Kore-eda poses this question to a group of the recently deceased in a way station between life and the after life. Oncve chosen this memory would be made into a film, a film that will accompany the dead person into eternity.
