Bushido Sixteen - Tomoyuki Furuyama (2010)

Based on the manga by Tetsuya Honda and Jiro Ando "Bushido Sixteen" follows two junior high school girls, Kaori (Riko Narumi) and Sanae (Kie Kitano), who despite their different backgrounds, have set there eyes on being the best kendo competitors at a local tournament. Will the competition between these two girls make them bitter rivals or will their shared passion for kendo make them the best of friends?




Love and Crime - Teruo Ishii (1969)

Teruo Ishii brought the world yet another trippy tortuous film in 1969 with "Meiji, taisho, showa ryoki onna hanzaishi", a.k.a. "Love and Crime". based around four notorious females criminals from the Edo Era to the present day (circa 1960's) the film is famed for its inclusion of a cameo appearance by the real Sada Abe, the woman at the center of Nagisa Oshima's erotic classic "In the Realm of the Senses". A word of warning though - this trailer is NOT SAFE FOR WORK.
