With Frankfurt, Germany gearing up to host some of the best new films from Japan this month at the 10th annual Nippon Connection Film Festival there's another film fest on the horizon that will be bringing even more Asian film goodness to European film fans. The Terracotta Far East Film Festival is will be taking over London's Prince Arthur Cinema between May 6th and May 9th and bringing 15 films from across Asia to the UK. In amongst films from such Asian film luminaries as Johnnie To and Teddy Chen Tak-sum Japanese cinephiles can look forward to a slew of exciting filmmaking including the last installment in Yukihiko Tsutsumi's "20th Century Boys" trilogy, Yoshihiro Nakamura's "Fish Story", Shimako Sato's "K-20: Legend of the Mask", and Mamoru Hosoda's animated award-winner "Summer Wars". Add on to that a documentary on the history of yakuza films directed by Yves Montmayeur and you have yourself a very full four days of movie-going.
