The Incite Mill: 7-Day Death Game - Hideo Nakata (2010)

"Ringu" director Hideo Nakata's second psychological thriller of 2010, "The Incite Mill: 7-Day Death Game" is based on a novel by Honobu Yonezawa and tells the story of 10 strangers who answer an ad promising easy money for a week spent in a mysterious mansion. Nakata has assmbled an all star cast for his thriller that includes Tatsuya Fujiwara, Haruka Ayase, Shinji Takeda and Kinya Kitaoji.




Pastoral: To Die in the Country - Shuji Terayama (1974)

Master of the Japanese avant-garde Shuji Terayama brings us his most autobiographical work with his 1974 film "Pastoral: To Die in the Country". A teenage boy stifled by his small town existence wishes to escape to the city with the lovely woman next door, but not only can he not escape, but his entire adventure is simply the memory of an unnamed filmmaker who is attempting to rewrite his childhood.
