I'm going to be dead honest with all of you here. If any many in the world was given the power of invisibility he would do one thing before, oh say... sneaking into prisons and helping release wrongfully convicted criminals or going to capture wanted terrorists or what have you. What's that? Try and peep in on naked ladies. What? Don't think so, guys? Search your souls, you know that I speak the truth. This basic carnal desire, no matter how juvenile and despicable, formed the basis of Yasuhiro Nakanishi's manga "Oh! Toumei Ningen (Oh! Invisible Man)". Now this naughty comic is being turned into a live-action film.
Anime News Network is reporting that Japanese film distributor Interfilm has bought the rights to Nakanishi's manga that tells the story of a young man who lives in a household of women. One day he east some kind of enchanted salmon roe which gives him the power of invisibility. And what do you think he does with it...? Yup, entertains his base desires and starts spying on his female housemates. Hey, no one ever said that every manga out there was as profound as "Barefoot Gen"!
No additional details of director or release date have been announced for the live-action "Oh! Toumei Ningen", but it's a no-brainer that some buxom young actresses will be cast in this one.
