My Back Pages - Nobuhiro Yamashita (2011)

Nobuhiro Yamashita, director of "Linda, Linda, Linda" and "A Gentle Breeze in the Village" returns with a story set in Japan's tumultuous 70's. In "My Back Pages" Satoshi Tsumabuki and Ken'ichi Matsuyama star as two journalists covering the shift from 1960's social protest to 1970's domestic terrorism. "My Back Pages" is set for release on May 28th.




Cruel Tales of Bushido - Tadashi Imai (1963)

In Tadashi Imai 's "Cruel Tales of Bushido" actor Kinnosuke Nakamura gives a tour de force performance as seven different men, all members of seven different generations of the Iikukura family. The journey starts in medieval Japan and ends in mid-20th century Japan giving us a guided tour of Japanese history.
