Osamu Tezuka's Buddha: The Great Departure - (2011)
Osamu Tezuka created some of the most iconic manga characters of all time - Astro Boy, Black Jack, Kimba the White Lion, but one character that Tezuka brought to life on the page wasn't his creation. It was none other than Guatama Buddha. Now the beginning of Tezuka's retelling of the life of the Buddha is coming to the screen in Kozo Morishita's "Osamu Tezuka's Buddha: The Great Departure".
High and Low - Akira Kurosawa (1963)
Seeing as Akira Kurosawa's 1963 thriller "High and Low" was based on American mystery writer Ed McBain's novel, "King's Ransom," it's only fitting that it got a stylish America trailer. If you've never seen this gripping tale of police trying to nab a mad kidnapper you have missed out. Rent it NOW!
