Grady Hendrix at Kaiju Shakedown scored the image below from Tetsuya Nakashima’s (Kamikaze Girls, Memories of Matsuko) next film “Pako and the Magic Picture Book”. Here’s a brief plot synopsis:
A young girl, Pako (Ayaka Wilson) is hospitalized after surviving a car crash that claimed the lives of her parents. She is left with brain damage that causes her to only remember things for a single day. While she tries to recover she becomes fascinated with a magic picture book.
Kôji Yakusho and Anna Tsuchiya will be starring either in person or as voice talent for animated characters. The film is set for release later this year.
