Synapse Films have been producing some very impressive DVD releases of Japanese films in the past year. Just look at the DVDs of Teruo Ishii’s “Horrors of Malformed Men” and Nobuo Nakagawa’s “Snake Woman’s Curse”; both have beautiful transfers and are loaded with extras.
Tomorrow, April 29th, Synapse is releasing two more much discussed but impossible to find films and The Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow wants to give you a chance to win one of them! Yes, Don May Jr., the man behind Synapse Films, has given us here at The Pow-Wow one copy each of Katsuhito Ishii’s “Party 7” and Tetsuo Shinohara’s “Karaoke Terror: The Complete Showa Songbook”. If you want to win either then, as per usual, you’ll have to head on over to our Facebook group and join! Once there it’ll be easy. No skill testing question this time, just write on the wall of the group your most sought after unreleased Japanese film.
The draw to find out who’s won “Party 7” and who’s won “Karaoke Terror” will take place May 5th at 11:00 p.m., so make sure to get over to Facebook:
