CONTEST: Win a free double pass to see “After Life” in Toronto!

To commemorate the 80th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Canada and Japan, the Canada Japan Society and the Consul General of Japan are very proud to present a special screening of Hirokazu Koreeda’s 1998 film “After Life” on May 16th @ 6:30 p.m. here in Toronto at the National Film Board Theatre (150 John Street).

As many of you know the story follows five “case workers” who work with the recently deceased, asking them the deceptively simple question, “What single memory of your life would you take into eternity?” This is one of my top ten favorite films of all time and I know there are a lot of you out there who feel the same way, so the Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow is giving you the chance to win a free double pass to the screening valued at $30.00! This not only includes the screening of “After Life”, but a screening of the Genie Award winning and Oscar nominated short “Madame Tutli Putli” and a wine and cheese reception following the film.

All you have to do is join The Pow-Wow’s Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2307294024 and write the answer to this really easy skill testing question on the wall before 11:00 p.m. tomorrow, April 8th.

"After Life" had to change its title for its North American release to avoid confusion with a classic 1946 Frank Capra film. What was the original title of "After Life"?

Looking forward to giving this pass to the lucky winner! Please note that this contest is only open to members of the Facebook group who are residents of Toronto and the surrounding area.
