“Zenzen Daijôbu” wins top spot at Nippon Connection 2008

News is popping up all over online, but I saw this first at Twitch, that of the over 40 films screened at this year’s Nippon Connection film festival in Frankfurt, Germany the top prize was rewarded to the Fujita Yôsuke directed comedy “Zenzen Daijôbu (Fine, Totally Fine)”. Starring Arakawa Yoshiyoshi (Survive Style 5+, Yaji and Kita: The Midnight Pilgrims) the films tells the story of two friends, Teruo (Yoshiyoshi) and Hisanobu (Okada Yoshinori), both obsessed with horror movies, building a haunted house theme park and both pushing thirty all the while still acting like teenagers.

Check out the report at Twitch here as well as follow the link to the “Zenzen Daijôbu” teaser trailer: http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/zenzen-daijobu-fine-totally-fine-wins-top-honors-at-the-2008-nippon-connect/
