“Tokyo!” gets three individual posters

News from the Twitch front today that the Michel Gondry, Bong Joon-Ho and Leos Carax directed “Tokyo!” now has three individual promotional posters. Each one covers one of the three films that make up the omnibus: Gondry’s “Interior Design”, Bong’s “Shaking Tokyo” and Carax’s “Merde”… but are they posters? I tried to pick my way through the text on the official website and it seems like these might be promotional postcards that are available for a limited time with advance ticket sales for the film? Maybe? Possibly? My hiragana and katakana is a bit rusty and I’m functionally illiterate when it comes to kanji, so if you can translate this text from the official website I’ll gift you with… my first born child(?) That’s a solid deal, no? Here goes:

劇場窓口にて特別鑑賞券発売中!
¥1,500(税込/当日¥1,800の処)〈シネマライズ〉〈シネ・リーブル池袋〉にてお買い求めの方に、3バージョンのポストカードより、いずれか1枚をプレゼント(限定数)!

Read the full report and check out the new posters/ postcards over at Twitch: http://twitchfilm.net/site/view/tokyo-one-sheets-for-bong-carax-gondry-triptych/

UPDATE: Mr. Jason Gray has been kind enough to offer his translation services:

"Special tickets now on sale at Cinema Rise and Cine Libre Ikebukuro - 1,500 yen (1,800 yen on the day of screening).Ticket purchasers can receive one of three different postcards as a present (while supplies last)."

Looks like folks in Japan will get a chance to see "Tokyo!" sooner than later... and they get to take home those postcards. Nice!
