Seems like the Toronto J-Film Pow-Wow had a precursor in an ad campaign by the Shiseido people back in 1969. Their "Pink Pow-Wow" campaign highlighted the "indian rukku" (Native Indian look) thus the beaded headband. Now all we have to do is get a catchy jingle like they had and we're laughing!
