The official site for Takashi Miike’s live-action “Yatterman” has released an impressive pic of the Yatter-Bark rescue robot that was actually constructed for the film (so there CGI!) The Yatter-Bark is 5.5 metres in height, took three months to build and cost a whopping ¥30 million ($280,000) to construct. Looks like Nikkatsu isn’t sparing any expense for Miike’s take on the 1970’s anime that they’ve slated for release next March.
