At the end of July we reported that Tadanobu Asano would be starring in the film adaptation of Kankuro Kudo’s stage play “Don-ju (Dumb Animal)”. The play revolves around a search for a missing novelist named Deogawa who may or may not have been killed by a group of his secretive childhood friends… many times over.
This morning the official cast photo for “Don-ju” hit the net and features Tadanobu Asano as Dekogawa, as well as Yoko Maki, Kazuki Kitamura, Yusuke Santamaria, Yoko Minamino, and Aimi Satsukawa.
First time feature director Hideaki Hosno is helming “Don-ju” which is set for a 2009 release. Thanks to Tokyograph for this story.
