Word from Tokyograph today that Takashi Miike has cast his villain for “Crows Zero 2”, the follow up to his 2007 big screen adaptation of the Hiroshi Takahashi manga about juvenile delinquents at Suzuran High School. Up and coming actor Haruma Miura (Negative Happy Chainsaw Edge) will star as Tatusya Mito, the head of the rival gang at Housen Gakuen High School.
“Crows Zero 2” is set for a 2009 release, but in the meantime click here to check out the official site and it’s trailer that borrows most of it’s footage from “Crows Zero”.
