Way back in June we reported on actor/ comedian Yuichi Kimura's directorial debut, "Nisesatsu". The title translates to "Counterfeit Money" and tells the true-life story of a counterfeiting ring that operated in Yamanashi Prefecture just after WW2.
Now Bitters End, the production company behind "Nisesatsu" has set up a bit of a makeshift official site for the film, but what it lacks in visual finesse it makes up for in content. The Bitters End folks have posted the first image of the cast of "Nisesatsu" (above) with Kimura on the far right appropriately sporting a camera around his neck.
We'll keep our ear to the ground for more information on the film which is due for release in Japan in the spring of 2009.
