You'll remember that back in Juner we told you how "The Glorious Team Batista" director Yoshihiro Nakamura was going to be helming a screen adaptation of Kotaro Isaka's novel "Fish Story". Well, now we finally have the full trailer for the film that's set to open in Japan this March.
The film follows one song titled "Fish Story" by the fictional punk rock group, Gekirin, (whose members include Atsushi Ito, Kengo Kora, Kiyohiko Shibukawa and Kazuki Namioka) and the impact that it has from it's release in 1975 and what is presumably the end of the world in 2012. In between a college student named Masashi (Gaku Hamada) becomes obsessed with a mystery surrounding the recording of the song and a high school girl named Asami (Mikako Tabe) has the song come up while she is being held hostage on a boat.
Head over to Nippon Cinema to check out the trailer and while you're at it visit Cinema Today to check out a full gallery of stills from the film.
