Could it be? Koji Yakusho's "Gama no Abura" is a comedy?

Hot on the heels of the news that "Cure" and "Retribution" star Koji Yakusho had finally wrapped production on his directorial debut "Gama no Abura (Toad's Oil)" we have a trailer courtesy of Twitch. What's really surprising is that with a plot revolving around a father and son dealing with the fallout of a tragic accident involving the son's girlfriend everyone was expecting a dour, weepy drama... but lo and behold it looks like Yakusho has instead delivered a comedy! Who'd have thought? I certainly wouldn't have, but the proof is in the trailer. Follow the link to Twitch above and see for yourself.
