Oscar nominated "Le Maison en Petits Cubes" screens across the U.S.

Here's another bit of news from Anime News Network today, but this time of a much more positive nature. Kunio Katō's 12-minute short film "Le Maison en Petits Cubes" is screening as part of Magnolia Films' Oscar Nominated Short Films 2009 programme showing at selected theatres across the U.S.

If you live in any of these cities in the United State's you can not only catch Katō's tale of on old man who must shore up his sinking house one brick at a time, but also the four other short animated films as well as the five short live-action films that will be vying for an Oscar on February 22nd. Make sure you head out to support short independent cinema in your hometown!
