Earlier in May news broke that that box office success of Takashi Miike's live-action adaptation of the 1970's animated series "Yatterman" had already percipitated a sequel of sorts. Japanese audiences will be getting their second dose of "Yatterman" on August 22nd when an animated feature again based on the 70's series will be released in theatres. Now the man with the trailers, Kevin Ouellette at Nippon Cinema has got the brand new 35-second teaser spot for this animated adventure. Never having been that familiar with the original series I can't really comment much on the content except to say that villainess Doronjo's costume (worn, or not worn depending on your perspective, Kyoko Fukada) certainly will rival Princess Leia's slave outfit from "Return of the Jedi" in the fantasies of geeks everywhere, animated or no.
