"The Machine Girl" goes vintage Nikkatsu with specially designed poster

Okay, this is far too small an item to be considered news, and despite the fact that I'm not the hugest fan of Noboru Iguchi's "The Machine Girl" even I have to admit this is pretty darn cool. Wildgrounds have pointed the way to the above retro-style poster for Iguchi's splatter/ horror/ comedy about a high school girl out for revenge equipped with a machine gun arm. Nikkatsu was on board as one of the producers of "The Machine Girl", so to see the film given the treatment of one of its classic 1960's exploitation films is fitting.
