London is about to get a very healthy dose of Asian film! Between May 5th and 8th the Terracotta Far East Film Festival will be taking over the Prince Charles Cinema and bring audiences 14 of this year's best and boldest films from East Asia. Fans of Japanese film can especially look forward to a quartet of brash and colourful films packed with action and laughs.
Joey Terracotta, the programmer and director (and namesake) of the fest will be screening Yudai Yamagichi's and Tak Sakaguchi's tag-team directorial effort "Yakuza Weapon" (trailer below), Yoshikatsu Kimura's loose sequel to "High Kick Girl" titled "Karate Girl", blood splatter master Yoshihiro Nishimura's "Helldriver", and "Vermillion Pleasure Night" creator Yoshimasa Ishibashi's feature directorial debut "Milocrorze: A Love Story".
If you're in the London, UK area and a fan of Asian film that make sure to check out the details of this year's Terracotta Far East Film Festival here.
