Miyazaki watercolour for “Ponyo” on cover of Japanese magazine

Hayao Miyazaki has provided a watercolour depicting the magical underwater world of the anime masters upcoming film “Ponyo on a Cliff by the Sea” for the June issue of Yomy Magazine, a supplement of the Daily Yomiuri newspaper. By the looks of the painting Miyazaki’s penchant for elaborate flying machines has gone amphibious with a wonderfully whimsical submarine. I can’t wait to see this film!
