News from the Mitch Davis and the folks at the Fantasia Film Festival headquarters that Yoshihiro Nishimura’s mutant bloodbath “Tokyo Gore Police” will be screened at this year’s fest. This will hopefully be the first of many Japanese titles that will get their Canadian premiere at Fantasia. Now going into their 12th year the fest has premiered Takashi Miike’s “Big Bang Love Juvenile A”, Sion Sono’s “Exte: Hair Extensions” Shinya Tsukamoto’s “Nightmare Detective”, etc., etc., etc… and that’s just last year!
We’ll keep our eyes and ears open for what else Fantasia 2008 has to offer in the nine short days before the fest starts in Montreal.
Check out the rest of the titles announced over at Fangoria, and thanks to Twitch for the heads up.
