Well, it looks like "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull" only rode the top of the Japanese box office for a single week, but what could have unseated Indy's last/ latest adventure? The last/ latest adventure of Tsukushi Makino and the boys of the F4 in "Hana yori Dango (Boys over Flowers): Final", that's who!
Based on Yoko Kamio's best-selling shōjo manga of all time the Yasuharu Ishii directed film has Tsukushi (Mao Inoue) about to marry Tsukasa Domyoji (played by Jun Matsumoto of pop group Arashi), but everything goes awry when Tsukushi's wedding gift from her soon to be mother-in-law, a 10 billion yen necklace, gets stolen and the bride, groom and the rest of the F4 from Eitoku Academy must give chase and pursue the crooks around the globe.
To be dead honest I'm not a fan of the "Hana yori Dango" series, but then again with Japanese audiences dropping 1 billion yen ($9.47 million) in the first weekend of "Hana yori Dango: Final" release who's gonna listen to a little blogger like me? No one, nor should they!
