In December news came out that the hyper-successful "Bayside Shakedown" and "Bayside Shakedown 2" were going to be rounded out into a trilogy with a third film based on the Fuji TV police series. At that point I made the confession that I had never seen either of the first two films and in the couple months since then that situation hasn't been remedied. Frankly, I just don't care to see them, even after casting news came down the pipe this week for "Bayside Shakedown 3". Apparently 34-year-old actress Yuki Uchida will be returning to the "Bayside" fold by reprising her role as Natsumi, one of the police officers in the Wangan Precinct where detective Shunsaku Aoshima (Yuji Oda) has now been promoted to Section Chief. Working under him will be a new batch of cops played by Komoto Masahiro, Kawano Naoki, and Takito Kenichi.
If you are one of the people out there who is a fan of "Bayside Shakedown" then you'll be glad to hear that the third film in the series will be opening in Japan on July 3rd. Until then you can check out the teaser trailer for the film below. Thanks to Japan Zone for these new casting details.
